I was thinking of getting a golf course job this summer for the free golf. I’m 27, will I be way out of place working there?

No, thats chill. At 27 you should feel weird working anywhere. That would be a great summer gig.
We have a few guys your age (ish) at our facility. If you goto a big time course, and you enjoy it – they may put you through a turf grass program.
no not at all . this will give you the experiance to be accepted into college program to learn this art . there are many openings world wide . they pay is very very good . benefit goverment due to your age will assist with some or in your case all of tuition 2 best schools are in canada . one vancouver island . one outskirts vancouver bc
Most golf courses would gladly trade free golf for additional help on the grounds crew. I think you could easily negotiate a salary and free golf for your services. Your age is a plus because they know you’ll show up for work.
